AC drive control motor for different rotation direction

Hey,

I have a device use AC drive and PLC rotary encoder to control motor reversing rotation direction,
The motor is equipped with a chain, with a knife on the chain in somewhere, the knife work mode is moving back and forth within a set travel, and the travel can be adjusted, the motor speed also can be adjusted.

It may not require a rotary encoder to control motor speed reversing, encoder is used for speed measurement.

1. Switch control: PLC output junction point with the AC drive forward, reverse, high-speed, medium-speed, low-speed junction points connecting, and then set the drive on a high middle and low frequency of these points directly with PLC control them in on/off.
2. Analog control, PLC output junction point connect with the current or voltage points of the AC drive, then set on the PLC for adjusting the frequency of the voltage or current and then use the D/A converter to change the frequency and rotation direction.
3. Profibus: use CCLINK profibus.

Rotary encoder: the rotary encoder is generally used for measuring the motor speed, and use with the transistor interface PLC, proximity switch the encoder signal is input to the PLC high speed input interface, and then the preparation of related procedures within the PLC to calculate the current speed compared with the desired speed, in order to adjust motor speed in real time.

Made the AC drive in terminal control mode, the forward and reverse control side were given from the output end of the PLC, rotary encoder gets signal from the PLC, then program as you need would be OK.
