CUT TO LENGTH -FLYING SHEAR SERVO SYSTEM -MISSING COMMAND

MY SYSTEM USES MISTUBISHI SERVO AMPLIFIER,THIS DRIVES THE SERVO MOTOR WHICH IS COUPLED TO GEARBOX.THE GEARBOX DRIVES THE SHEAR UNIT WHICH MOVES IN HORIZONTAL MOTION PROFILE.FRONT & BACK.TWO LIMIT SWITCH SENSE WHEN THE SHEAR HAS CUT THE IRON SHEET .AFTER DETECTING THE SHEAR MOVES TO HOME POSITION.

THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE SYSTEM WORKS OK ,BUT AFTER SOMETIME ,THE SERVO STOPS ON ITS OWN.AFTER COOLING THE PANEL ,THE SYSTEM STARTS WORKING OK.WHAT CAN BE OVERHEATING ON THE SYSTEM?

I am not familiar with that brand of servo motor. However, if you are able to monitor the servo while in operation and graph your torque and position, your profile for the servo movement may be too agressive for the loads, which could cause heating. Also, you said after it runs a while, you have to cool the panel. Depending on the cabinet you have this mounted in, and the current cooling method, you may have to add additional fans/cooling directly on the drive itself.
