Direct drive PM motor efficiency

What is the efficiency level of Direct drive PM motor for washing machine during Laundry mode (High torque at low speed) and SPIN-DRYING mode (High speed with low torque)?

Normally the max efficiency should be over 75% for Direct drive motors or inverter motors for the washing machines. The efficiency should be lower when the frequency is low. So the whole of machine efficiency is decided how to control the motor. Would you please let us know more detail for discussion?

Let say the laundry mode is at 45 rpm and spin mode at 1300 rpm. Based on your statement the max eff will be close to 1300 rpm. What will be the normal efficiency at 45 odd rpm? Will it be as low as 30%?

The efficiency is over 60% for PSC copper wire motor(4P,50Hz,1300rpm,140W). The motor price should be high if it has high efficiency. The direct drive motor efficiency is over 75% when speed is 1000rpm(12 poles). This is a BLDC motor and it needs professional controller and gear train for washing machine
