Prior to that I worked at BAE Systems on an off for several years as a senior electrical engineer and lead firmware engineer. During my tenure, I helped develop multi-axis AC servo drives for the military.
I also worked at PAR Systems briefly as a control engineer on their robotics division. Right when I got out of college, I worked at Western Digital as a servo engineer.
I have a Bachelors degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Masters degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amhurst.
The skills that I developed are in the development of high bandwidth, complex control systems including motor control. I am skilled in both the hardware and software aspects in this field of expertise as it relates to the computing and control elements of the architecture.
