Hello all! I'm responsible for managing the Software Engineering group in the Drives Division at Yaskawa America, Inc. We are in charge of the embedded application firmware for our VFDs as well as the PC application software for configuring the controllers.

I've been in the industry for 16 years, cutting my teeth on drives initially as an application engineer and - over time - gradually focusing more in the software area. I enjoy the fact that our industry presents challenges for a wide range of disciplines: control theory, power electronics, manufacturing expertise and more. Even after being in the business for a while, I'm still amazed at some of the unique ways our customers apply our products.
